LO4 Final Video

LO4 - evidence of editing

In these two pictures you can see me adding a Denoiser to a clip I did this to all the audio to make it better as there is a lot of noise happening with the music and the audio from the clips of interviews.

LO4 - Edit Log

Like explained on the Offline edit we are not doing much editing as it is a serious topic and we do not want to mask the seriousness of the subject by over editing it.

LO4 Offline Edit

This is the offline edit for our Mental Health Video, this is not much different to the final thing, as we have decided to not use much editing as we feel it is more of a formal product, as it is a documentary and it is about a serious subject and is something to be taken serious and we do not want to put the wrong impression across. So we decided to just use a time lapse while we put some facts over the top to add an interesting twist to the way we are presenting as there is a lot of information being said by people across the final video. The music is also a little too loud, so we will either turn this down or take it off.

LO3 - Legal and Ethical

Legal and Ethical

The only copyright considerations which we need is for the background music which we will be using to put over parts of the video like when we are doing a time lapse with facts over it as we don’t want it to just be silent whilst people are reading the facts to themselves. We will find copyright free music which means we will be able to use it without getting into trouble where we can also upload it to places like Youtube. We have also made sure that we have all permissions to film everyone in our documentary with them giving consent and signing a release and consent agreement.

I have looked at the BBFC ratings and compared it to our documentary to find that our documentary can be rated U as the interviews don't contain references to drugs, bad language, violence or threat, sexual behaviour as the documentary is just people giving there opinions about mental health where they've kept it clean the people we interviewed so it can especially be shown to younger children to try and raise awareness.
